Every channel still costs dedicated coax lines up to room temperature, a discrete amplifier chain, and a share of a hard 4 K heat budget. Research ASICs have shown that integrated cold readout works — but a demonstration is not a component. Alienonyx exists to close that gap: readout silicon you can actually design in — a documented, supported, purchasable part with an engineer behind it.
Where we are. Alienonyx is pre-silicon, deliberately in the open. Our first test chip is planned on IHP’s open shuttle, and v1 requirements are being set now — with design-in partners. Early partners shape the spec and get first access, at no cost or commitment.
